Category Domination System™
What if your industry's problem were not a lack of strategy, but a flaw no one has yet decided to fix?
A 12-week engagement for leaders who are no longer content to adapt to the rules of their industry.
The problem
The better you get, the more you look like your competitors
You have done what is expected of a good leader. You hired better salespeople. You installed a CRM. You may already have tried artificial intelligence. Every year, your company runs a little better.
Yet your customers still compare your prices. Your competitors copy your best ideas within six months. Your margins are not recovering. You are making progress, but in a game whose field and rules you never chose.
The real problem is not your tool
Many companies deploy a CRM without having named the problem their industry suffers from, the category they want to establish, the segments that really matter and the influencers to mobilise. The CRM then becomes a mere container for information. A tool cannot execute a strategy that no one has clarified.
Systemic flaws
What flaw does your industry suffer from without ever having named it?
In every industry there are dysfunctions that everyone knows about, that each company works around in its own way, but that no one truly challenges. As long as this flaw remains invisible, every player competes on the same criteria.
Tomorrow's leaders will be those who identify it, formulate a new way to fix it and have the capacity to deploy it at scale. Open your sector to see whether you recognise yourself.

Banking: the sales conversation is still handcrafted
The flaw: banks have industrialised their processing, never their sales conversation.
Back office, risk management and compliance are standardised, traced and auditable. A transaction follows the same path whatever the branch. But the conversation that decides whether a corporate client signs or waits remains handcrafted. It depends on the relationship manager's personality, memory and mood of the month.
A consequence no one measures: the same offer is told in ten different ways in ten branches, and none of these versions is necessarily the one approved by senior management.
The conceptual enemy: the star salesperson. Performance rests on three or four exceptional people whose departure takes the portfolio and the network with them. The bank accepts this as an inevitability of the trade, and pays for it every time a relationship manager resigns.
Insurance: everything is measured except the buying decision
The flaw: insurers measure everything about their portfolio, and nothing about the conversation that produced it. They steer collections; they do not steer the buying decision. Everything after the signature is instrumented: billing, collection, reserving, claims. But the argument that made a client choose your company over another exists in no system. It stayed in the head of an agent you do not manage.
This is not the bank's problem. A bank owns its network: salaried relationship managers, branches, a hierarchy. An insurer distributes through independent agents, brokers who legally work for the client, bancassurance partnerships and introducers. Its problem is not authority, it is influence. You cannot order a broker to sell differently: you make sure yours is the offer they want to place.
The conceptual enemy: price as the only argument. Without a differentiating story, the discussion mechanically returns to the premium, and the only adjustment lever becomes the commission paid to the intermediary. The insurer then buys its distribution instead of convincing it.
B2B trade and distribution: customer knowledge leaves with the salesperson
The flaw: customer knowledge lives in the salesperson's head, not in the company.
Trade and distribution are high-turnover businesses. What was promised, what the customer refused, who decides on their side, their outstanding balance, how often they order: all of it lives in the seller's head. When they leave, everything leaves with them. Their replacement starts from scratch, and the customer knows it, which puts them in a position to renegotiate.
Three questions to ask yourself:
Are your field sales reps working, or reporting that they work?
How many of your active customers have had no visit in ninety days, and who, in your company, is responsible for noticing?
What is the value of the portfolio you are not working, and do you know it?
Consulting firm: two or three partners carry everything
The flaw: most of the revenue comes from two or three partners who bring in mandates through personal relationships. The others deliver, and progress on their delivery capacity. The firm accepts two consequences as an inevitability of the trade:
business development stops when these partners are on assignment, which is almost always;
the firm's value is concentrated in their address books, and the departure of one of them takes part of the revenue.
No one can say where the last twelve engagements came from: which referrer, which publication, which relationship.
What if the firm's excellence no longer depended on a few experts? If every consultant had the knowledge, frameworks and agents needed to lead an engagement with the rigour of the most experienced, you would have a collective capacity to produce excellence at scale. The real transformation is not replacing the expert, it is turning their expertise into organisational capability.
Asset management firm: they all present themselves the same way
The flaw: all asset managers present themselves the same way, and investors do not know why to choose one over another.
Your pitch starts with past performance, just like your competitors'.
Your distribution depends on a few referrers and platforms you do not control.
Your investors compare your fees, because they do not understand what sets your approach apart.
Possible category: the asset manager recognised for a specific investor problem it solves, rather than for a management style.
These flaws are examples to help you recognise yourself. Each one reads differently from one sector to another: that is what gives the Category Domination System™ its power, as it is never a file adapted from one client to the next. Yours is specific to your company and your market.
The method
Three pillars to move from competitor to benchmark
The Category Domination System™ is built on the V.I.E.™ method of DJAGUEU IMPACT™. A category is not decreed: it is designed, structured, then executed every day.
V — Vision
We identify your industry's systemic flaw, then define the category you can create and the reality it makes possible for your customers.
Strategic and commercial diagnosis
Category Design thesis
Name, proprietary language and leadership narrative
I — Intelligence
We translate this vision into a commercial architecture and deliver it in a ready-to-use CRM, configured for your market.
Segments, narrative angles and influencers
Scripts, objections, answers and proof points
Workflows, dashboards and prioritisation rules
E — Execution
We activate DJAGUEU Impact Intelligence, an agent that checks the execution of your strategy every day, with your teams.
Seven automated reports, with no manual trigger
Commitments tracked, dated and assigned
Continuous measurement and optimisation
Steering
A dashboard that links today's actions to your position in the market
The dashboard we deliver is not a visualisation page. It is a three-level steering system that CRMs usually keep separate.
Level 1 — The day
Emails to send, calls to make, follow-ups, overdue workflows and next steps. You check that priorities do not remain theoretical.
Level 2 — Activity
Portfolio activation quality, sales rep progress, dormant accounts, delay alerts and pipeline distribution.
Level 3 — The market
Market share won, remaining potential, realised revenue and trajectory. You measure how far your category has penetrated.
Without level 3, the Category Design thesis remains a framing memo whose delivery no one measures. With it, it becomes an objective whose progress you read at any given date.

Who leads the engagement

Frequently asked questions
Your questions before applying
Why is the price not displayed?
Each engagement is tailored to the size of your company, your sector, the number of products and segments, and the system to be built. The fee is defined during the strategic conversation, once your application has been accepted.
My sector is very traditional. Can a category really be created there?
Yes. Sectors where everyone sells the same thing are often those where a new category makes the biggest difference. The diagnosis in the first weeks is precisely there to check this potential.
Do I need to already have a CRM or AI tools?
No. If you have them, we integrate them into the system. If not, we deliver a ready-to-use CRM during the Intelligence phase.
Can the agent modify or damage my sales data?
No. It never overwrites original data, writes nothing below the confidence threshold set during scoping, cites its source and keeps an audit table. Your data remains traceable.
What does the agent have access to?
It reads the mailboxes of sales accounts within a scope defined and approved with you during scoping. The recipients of each report are chosen by hierarchical level.
Will artificial intelligence replace my salespeople?
No. The agent handles follow-ups, sorting and preparation. Your salespeople spend more time with the right customers, at the right time.
How much time do I need to devote to it?
Allow a few hours a week for yourself, and the involvement of your sales team during the Execution phase. A category is built with the leader, not in their place.
What happens after the 12 weeks?
You leave with an operational system, automated reports and dashboards. If you wish, we can extend the support to accelerate the domination of your category.
I am not ready for an engagement yet. Where should I start?
Start with the book The Impact Manual™, which sets out the DJAGUEU IMPACT™ method and its frameworks. You can also write to us on WhatsApp to talk about it.
